The second quarter of 2025 saw noteworthy trends in the performance of top cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Portugal. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user trends for the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet witnessed a significant surge in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from approximately 1K in early April to over 5K by the end of May. However, there was a notable decline towards the end of June, dropping to around 800. Meanwhile, weekly active users decreased from over 65K to approximately 44K by the quarter's end.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO experienced a steady download rate, peaking at around 3.6K in late April before tapering off to 426 by the end of June. Active users showed a gradual increase, reaching over 22K in mid-June.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly numbers fluctuating between 800 and 1K. Active users, however, saw a decline from 85K to just over 51K by the end of June.

MEXC: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto observed an increase in downloads, peaking at 1.2K in late May, while active users grew steadily from 1.5K to over 2.5K by the end of May, before stabilizing around 2.1K.

Mercado Bitcoin Portugal showed stable download figures, with weekly numbers ranging from 550 to 795 throughout the quarter.
